+   Walkathon 2019- Treamisians touching lives.

Treamisians commemorated World Cancer Day by organizing a 5 km Walkathon, cosponsored by Ramakrishna Hospitals and Qualitest. The initiative driven by students with the support of staff and parents raised funds for cancer research and treatment for cancer patients at Kidwai Memorial Institute of Oncology. The chief guest Dr. Raghunath Krishnappa, Uro Oncologist and Robotic Urologist inaugurated the event. Tiny tots to senior citizens participated in the Walkathon which started with a zumba dance workout. More

Treamis witnessed an outpouring crowd at the ‘Student Led Conference’. There were a deluge of activities to behold. Each and every arena starting from Robotics, Artificial Intelligence,Science, Mathematics, Art and languages unfurled the learning of the students here at Treamis. The dance and musical show performed by the senior students based on the theme ‘Shades of Life’ highlighted the joy of sharing and spread the message about selfless and simple acts of love and care. Mr. Sandeep Alur, who was the Chief Guest at the function delivered the 'Key Note' speech and Dr. Bharath Raj was honored for his yeoman service to the society. +   Treamisians experiencing Russia!

They were overwhelmed by the history and modernity at Red Square, Kremlin and the famous Metro. The museums RSC Energia and Cosmonautics Memorial were amazing platforms for learning the Soviet space history, Students could experience a few space modules and understand 4D games and mock mission games. Along with the hustle and bustle of Russian life, students visited Russia’s most treasured landmarks: the Cathedral of Christ the Savior, Kolomenskoe National Park and Museum and Hermitage museum. +   Kannada Day

Karnataka boasts of its rich, varied culture and traditions. To commemorate this day, Treamisians bestowed a myriad of events, to behold. Encompassing the 52 varnamalas, Grades 1 and 2, cavorted, to hold the audience spell bound as their tiny feet tapped to the sprightly melody. Moral responsibility, to keep the environment clean, was demonstrated by students of Grade 3 and 4, through an intriguing skit. How strong is your G.K.? To authenticate that, the senior students from Grade 6 upwards, in a fair and nail biting finish, took part in an exciting quiz competition. The audience was hypnotized by the rendition exhibited by students of Grades 2, 3 and 5. The song witnessed everyone in the audience; go down memory lane, as they paid tribute to the eminent Indian poet and writer K.S. Nissar Ahmed. His constant endeavour was to spread awareness about the rich heritage of Karnataka and roll out the luxuriance of the Kannada language. More

+   Interschool Aquatics Championship

Treamis organized the Tenth Interschool Aquatic Championship at its Electronics City campus. The event witnessed the overwhelming participation of 400 students from 80 schools across India, displaying their swimming skills in varied styles - freestyle, backstroke, butterfly stroke, breaststroke, relay and many other swimming events in seven categories U6, U8, U10, U12, U14, U16 and U18 for both boys and girls. The International School, Bangalore (TISB) bagged the overall championship trophy. Ryan International School and Bishop Cotton Girls School were declared the first and second runner-up. The U18 relay was the most exciting event in which swimmers of six schools showed sky-high competitive spirit in each lap, taking the competition down to the wire. The event commenced with a mesmerizing semi-aquatic dance, followed by aquatic yoga and aqua gymnastics. Treamis parent Ms. Sandhya Ganesh was the Chief Guest for the event. Mr. Sarath, the Para Olympics Swimmer motivated the participants through his keynote address. More

+   Interacting with peers from across the world

The students of Grades 8-12 interacted with their peers from JSS Private School in Dubai over video conferencing and got an insight into the cultural differences between the nations. They also had an opportunity to discuss the architectural patterns from antiquity to the present day with special emphasis on the famous monuments of both the nations. The new Treamis conference hall equipped with the state-of-the art video conferencing technology enabled to connect classrooms with students in other parts of the world for collaborative learning. Treamis students now interact with their peers in almost every continent. The exchange of ideas and the discussion over in cyberspace allows students to understand global cultures and issues and also socialize and make friends with peer students from schools around the world. +   Triumphant Treamisians!!

Treamisians had a triumphant victory at the Inter school event “MAGNA CHRISTA 2018” for students of Grades 11 and 12 . In the most challenging competitions, which witnessed participation from over twenty schools and colleges, Treamisians Mruda Kale of Grade 11 and Bhoomika of Grade 12 bagged first prize in the events Spell Bee and Paint the Poem . In yet another exciting event Air Crash, Abhay Aasagodu of Grade 11 secured the second prize. Shaun George of Grade 12 won second prize in Photography competition and Abhiraj Ranjan of grade 12 displayed his oratory skills in the extempore event and secured third prize in “Just a Minute”. +   Treamisians celebrate Hindi Diwas

Students from preschool to high school participated in various activities to celebrate Hindi Day at Treamis. While the senior students danced to the tunes of the peppy number ‘Nachle Nachle”, Preschoolers recited poems symbolising rain and houses. Their well crafted diction was visible as they rolled the vowels. The street play was the cynosure of all eyes. The melodious song ‘Hum hai Hindustani, hindi bhasha humko pyaari hai’ was mesmerizing. Students, dressed as famous poets during the period of freedom struggle and the stellar dance performance depicting unified India helped students understand how the language helped the country transform to free India. +   Celebration of traditions at Treamis

The students and staff in colourful traditional dress and accessories performed graceful dances and other activities displaying the various cultures across the world. Games like Kabaddi, Kho Kho, Lagori, Tyre race kept the spirit of the student’s sky high. An art exhibition was also organised to expose children to the traditional life styles and the artefacts. It was a matchless experience for the students of foreign origin to have the scrumptious traditional Indian and continental lunch on banana leaf which requires eating with hands heightening the sensual connection to food and softening the formality of fine dining.
